Introduction
Earnwise uses the Google account you signed in with to help keep your rewards account secure and tied to the correct profile. In most cases, you cannot freely swap that Google account after the account is created. This article explains what you can do if you signed in with the wrong account, want to remove Google access, or no longer have access to your original Google account.
Can I change the Google account on my Earnwise account?
Usually, no. Earnwise is linked to the Google account you used when you created your account. That login is part of how we identify your profile, points, and redemption history.
If you want to use a different Google account, you may need to create a new Earnwise account instead. Before doing that, contact support so we can help you understand whether your current account can be recovered or whether a new account is the right option.
If you signed in with the wrong Google account
Sign out of Earnwise.
Try signing in again with the original Google account you used for Earnwise.
If you still cannot access the correct account, contact support from the email address tied to your Earnwise profile and explain what happened.
How to remove Google access
If you want to disconnect Earnwise from your Google account, you can do that in your Google account settings. Removing access from Google stops that connection, but it does not automatically move your Earnwise rewards to a different login.
Open your Google account settings.
Find Earnwise in your connected apps or third-party access list.
Remove Earnwise access.
If you still want to use Earnwise, contact support first so you understand what this change means for your account.
If you no longer have access to the original Google account
If you cannot sign in to the Google account tied to Earnwise, contact support from the email address linked to your Earnwise profile. Include as much detail as you can about the issue so we can review your account and check whether recovery is possible.
Depending on the situation, we may be able to help recover access. If not, you may need to create a new account.
